Air Canada celebrates launch of Edinburgh-Montréal flights

Air Canada celebrated its inaugural flight between Edinburgh and Montréal on Friday 27 June.

The service was welcomed by a bagpiper and an official gate ceremony led by Air Canada Managing Director of International Sales Rocky Lo when it touched down in Edinburgh. It then left Edinburgh for Montréal at 11.15am.

It is Scotland’s only air connection to Canada’s second-largest city. Flights will operate three times per week in the summer season, with the service running until 7 September 2025.
