Hays Travel rewarded 15 of its top Personal Travel Consultants and Explorer franchisees with a five-night sailing aboard Fred. Olsen’s Balmoral in August.
Agents departed Newcastle on 23 August for the Norwegian fjords, as part of the ‘Captain’s Table’ initiative.
On the sailing, they dined at speciality restaurants, danced at a silent disco and braved an open water swim in Olden.
Personal Travel Consultant Carla Blount said: “The food on board was incredible; there was a real choice to suit everyone.
“We also did a behind-the-scenes tour to see how the ship operates, and we were very lucky to meet the captain on the bridge for a photo opportunity.”
Explorer franchisee Eilidh McKerry described the trip as an ‘invaluable’ way to learn more about cruise products and build relationships with trade partners.
