The Your Co-op Travel team in Beccles, Suffolk, raised £2,000 for The Brain Charity by completing a 10-mile walk in August in memory of their former colleague Samantha Harrison, who died this year.
Four Your Co-op Travel colleagues and their partners walked from Suffolk Wildlife Centre at Carlton Marshes to Your Co-op Travel Beccles on Market Street to raise money for the charity.
The Brain Charity provides practical help, emotional support and social activities to people in the UK who have neurological conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system. Support is also given to carers, friends and family.
Your Co-op Travel Beccles Travel Manager Teresa Bailey-Green said: “Taking part in the walk was very special for all of us who worked with Samantha. She was not only a wonderful colleague but also a dear friend, and we wanted to do something that reflected the impact she had on our lives.
“Completing the route together felt like a fitting tribute, and knowing we’ve raised money to help others through The Brain Charity makes it even more meaningful. We’re proud to have honoured her memory.”

Your Co-op Travel Chief Operating Officer Claire Evans added: “We are incredibly proud of our colleagues at our Beccles branch for coming together to honour Samantha’s memory in such a meaningful way.
“The sponsored walk was not only a tribute to her but also gave the team an opportunity to raise vital funds for The Brain Charity, which does such important work for those affected by neurological conditions.”
