P&O Cruises to offer ceremonies ashore in Barbados, with commission for agents

Guests on P&O Cruises Caribbean sailings on Arvia and Britannia can book ceremonies on shore for the first time.

Agents will earn 5% commission on all ceremony packages booked as part of a P&O Cruises holiday, booked between 16 October 2025 and 16 April 2026.

Agents will also be able to spin the bookings on Shine Rewards Club.

P&O Cruises Associate Vice President, Sales & Distribution Ruth Venn said: “In addition to the stunning Ceremonies at Sea already offered on board all seven P&O Cruises ships, these new Ceremonies on Shore will boost the current average of around 600 ceremonies across the fleet each year.

“They will provide agents with the opportunity to use the growing trend of celebrations abroad to reach new audiences and promote P&O Cruises ceremonies.”

‘Ceremonies on Shore’ offers legal weddings and commitment ceremonies on a choice of three beaches in Barbados – Batts Rock (pictured above), Needhams’s Point or Little Good Shepherd – or at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion resort’s private beach or garden.

Ceremony packages, which start at £4,999, include dedicated specialists before and during the cruise, executive transfers, and a wedding arch with two floral arrangements.

Couples also receive breakfast in bed, a Champagne toast, a matching bouquet and buttonhole, dinner at a speciality restaurant, a commemorative certificate and P&O Cruises champagne flutes, £100 off spa services, and wedding night prosecco and chocolate-covered strawberries.
