Cassie Mullen joined Olympic Holidays as BDM South in September, from Classic Collection. Travel Gossip found out a bit more about Cassie in a quick Q&A.
I never travel without… my coffee travel mug.
The famous person (dead or alive) I’d most like to sit next to on a plane is… Alan Carr. I’d like to see who laughs is the loudest.
My weakness is… booking too many holidays for myself.
The next place I’ll visit is… Marbella on the Midcounties Conference.
The worst thing I ate or drank abroad was… Morroccan food. It’s not for me as it’s too spicy.
My bucket-list destination is… being a massive ABBA fan I want to island hop to Skiathos (pictured), Skopelos and Alonnisos.

The best piece of advice I’ve been given is… be yourself. Be authentic and honest with yourself and others. People connect with sincerity, and staying true to your values builds trust and lasting relationships, both personally and professionally.
If I could eat one meal for the rest of my life it would be… pasta and ‘gazzy b’ (garlic bread).
The emoji I use most often is… the laughing face.
The thing I miss most while travelling is… my ultra comfy Barbie onesie.
When I left school, I wanted to be… an air stewardess – hence why I love wearing my Olympic uniform.
I’ve wanted to be in travel since I was five… when I walked into Going Places with my family to book a holiday. I finally did it aged 34. Before that I was a Contact Centre Manager for NHS Patient transport, but in September 2019 I got a job at the Thomas Cook store in Tesco, Durrington. I was there for three days and it went bust. Then I joined Classic as a Travel Advisor and worked my way up to Manager. But then a year later I was made redundant.
The thing I’m most proud of is… landing my dream job as BDM at Olympic holidays. It’s a well-known respected tour operator where you’re treated as one of the family.
In my new role, I’ll be… visiting as many agents as I can sharing the fantastic product that Olympic holidays offer.
