Ambassador Cruise Line has released its winter 2026/27 Caribbean fly-cruise programme, on its newest ship, Renaissance.
The launch comes a week after British guests joined Renaissance for its first fly-cruise Caribbean winter programme, following Ambassador’s merger with Compagnie Française de Croisières CFC.
Ambassador’s second winter programme will operate from 29 October 2026 until 1 April 2027. The ship will homeport again in Bridgetown, Barbados, and will operate 10 itineraries over the season.
The programme is made up of two repositioning voyages and eight 14-night fly-cruises.
British guests will fly direct to Bridgetown on dedicated Virgin Atlantic charter flights from London Heathrow and Manchester every other Sunday in Economy Classic, with upgrade options to Economy Delight, Premium and Upper Class available.
Ambassador CEO Christian Verhounig said: “The successful take-up of our inaugural Caribbean fly-cruise season confirmed what we had hoped – that there is a strong appetite for more choice and flexibility when it comes to winter cruising.
“While no-fly sailings remain at the heart of our brand, the introduction of fly-cruise options to the Caribbean now allows us to cater for guests who want to enjoy winter sun but prefer shorter, flight-accessible itineraries.”
Details of the new winter season on board Renaissance are now available on Ambassador’s website and in a dedicated 24-page digital brochure flipbook.
The first sailing of the new season is a 24-night cruise from London Cruise Terminal in Tilbury on 29 October 2026, calling at France, Portugal and the Azores, Antigua, Martinique, St Lucia and Grenada. The sailing ends in Bridgetown, with return flights to Manchester and London Heathrow. Prices start from £1,759 per person.
After that, Renaissance will operate a 14-night ‘Tropical Treasures’ cruise, with port calls including Curaçao, Bonaire, Dominica and Saint Lucia. Subsequent cruises include calls at Antigua, Tobago, Guadeloupe and Grenada.
The programme also includes a Christmas and New Year cruise, on 20 December, calling at Grenada, Curaçao, Tobago, St Lucia and St Kitts, with Christmas Day spent in St John’s, Antigua and New Year’s Eve marked by a celebration at sea.
Renaissance’s last cruise of the winter season will be an 18-night repositioning ‘Caribbean Highlights and Atlantic Discovery’ on 14 March 2027.
Christian continued: “Since launching our inaugural fly-cruise programme, feedback from guests and trade partners has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have told us how much they value the fact that Ambassador offers a Caribbean programme aboard a small to mid-sized ship versus other cruise lines operating in the Caribbean over the winter months.”
