The ‘Queen of Cruising’, Jane McDonald, will host a second Ambassador Cruise Line sailing next year.
Jane announced the new cruise just hours after the first ‘Cruise With Jane McDonald’ charter set sail from London Tilbury earlier this month, onboard Ambassador’s ship Ambience.
In a video filmed at the start of the Baltic cruise, Jane said: “I’m not going to lie, I’m currently having a very lovely time sailing with 1,400 of my friends and it’s brilliant. You all know I love a cruise so I couldn’t resist the opportunity to do this again next year.
“It will be the same lovely ship, but I’ll be performing new shows for you all and I will be joined by some very special guests.
“This cruise sold out really quickly. It will be fun to do it all over again and if you missed out this time I hope I get to see you next year instead.”
Next year’s cruise will also be onboard Ambience, from London Tilbury, and will sail to Ijmuiden (Amsterdam), Zeebrugge, Cherbourg and Honfleur.
Jane will perform two new headline shows, an exclusive new show ‘Afternoon with Jane – Songs from the Piano’, as well as host activities such as bingo and quizzes during the cruise.
The cruise will take place from 2-9 October 2026.
Pre-sale access opened on Monday 13 October via the Cruise with Jane McDonald website. The cruise goes on general sale on Friday 17 October at 10am.
Prices start at £919 per person for an inside cabin, rising to £5,174pp for a midship deluxe suite.
Speaking at the Advantage Latitude Cruise conference this week, CLIA UK & Ireland Managing Director Andy Harmer said: “TV programmes have helped [promote cruising]. Jane McDonald has done an amazing job at breaking down barriers.”
