Jet2holidays General Manager Lloyd Cross has left the company for a new role in travel.
Lloyd has worked for Jet2holidays for 13 years in various roles, as Sales Advisor, Senior Trade Sales Executive, Regional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager. He has been General Manager for three years.
On a LinkedIn post, he said: “After 13 fantastic years at Jet2holidays, my time has come to an end. It’s certainly been a journey and the growth has been phenomenal.
“I have had the pleasure of working with so many brilliant people both internally and with our partners, learning from them along the way. Thanks to everyone who has helped make it such a great experience!
“I’m staying in the travel industry and can’t wait to start a new chapter shortly.”
Lloyd is now on gardening leave.
A Jet2 spokesperson told Travel Gossip: “Lloyd goes with our best wishes, having made a fantastic contribution as part of our award-winning trade team.”
In terms of filling the role of General Manager, Jet2 went on to say, “We will look at all options and, as always, make decisions in the best interests of our independent travel agent partners.”
