Ambassador Cruise Line is delivering its most comprehensive trade engagement programme to date in support of the affordable quality cruise line’s first-ever Caribbean fly-cruise season on board Renaissance.
From October 2025 through to March 2026, guests will be able to enjoy 10 Caribbean fly-cruise sailings, with Ambassador’s ‘third lady of the sea’ homeporting in Bridgetown, Barbados. Each itinerary will be for a 14-night duration, except for two repositioning cruises at the beginning and end of the season.
Guests have the choice of flying from either Manchester or London Heathrow on dedicated charter flights with Virgin Atlantic every other Monday, with four onboard flight experiences to choose from – Upper Class, Premium, Economy Delight and Economy Classic. Once on board Renaissance, guests can expect the same high standard of outstanding cuisine, exceptional service and amazing entertainment that they’ve come to associate with Ambassador, all with a tropical backdrop.
Caribbean itineraries have been curated to ensure Ambassador provides Destination Experiences that will allow guests to discover the rich culture, history and natural beauty of the Caribbean. Offering a variety of experiences to appeal to all tastes and budgets, these include a breathtaking 45-minute helicopter adventure for a once-in-a-lifetime view of Montserrat’s dramatic Soufrière Hills Volcano in Antigua; a relaxing catamaran cruise to the iconic Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in St Lucia; the chance to travel through lush landscapes, past sugarcane fields and along the dramatic coastline of St Kitts on the St Kitts Scenic Railway; and the chance to discover the hidden paradise of Virgin Gorda on Tortola, where giant volcanic boulders create stunning sea caves and tranquil pools.
Helping you sell Caribbean cruises
To help educate its valued trade partners and maximise agent sales for the Caribbean fly-cruise programme, the Ambassador trade team has introduced a full toolkit of marketing resources including a Renaissance fact sheet, ‘Why Book Fly Caribbean’ flyer, Caribbean-themed postcards, updated image and video assets in the trade asset bank, and bespoke point-of-sale materials.
Exclusive webinars have been lined up with Not Just Travel, Fred. Olsen Travel, Just Go Holidays and InteleTravel, alongside Cruise Expert calls and AS Training sessions.
The team is also staging roadshows and blitzes across the UK, delivering face-to-face engagement through one-to-one store visits, in-store events, CLIA’s Small Ship event in September, TIPTO showcases in Tilbury and Newcastle and high-profile trade gatherings.
Incentives and more
Ambassador is running a range of incentives to generate further engagement with the trade.
Following on from its successful ‘Grab a Grand’ campaign, an all-new incentive, ‘We Sea You’, will run from 1 – 30 September, rewarding high-value bookings, social activity, window displays and growth in booking numbers with Love2Shop vouchers up to the value of £100. There will also be a grand prize of a full staffroom makeover delivered in person by the Ambassador Trade Team.
Fam trip activity includes the Extreme Day Trip on 25 September 2025 which involves flying 50 agents from London, Manchester and Bristol to Mallorca for a one-day Caribbean taster on Renaissance. Agents will enjoy a welcome cocktail, ship tour, Caribbean lunch in Creole, a trade presentation, and time to explore the ship’s public spaces.
Ambassador Head of Trade (Interim) Karen Cameron said: “Our trade partners are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re investing more than ever in training, marketing assets, incentives and first-hand experiences to make sure every agent has the tools, knowledge and confidence to sell our new Caribbean fly-cruise season. With Renaissance taking her place in the fleet alongside Ambience and Ambition, we’re now able to deliver more choice, more flexibility and more opportunity to our trade partners than ever before. As we look to continue providing them with all the support and tools they need, they can rest assured that the whole team remain dedicated to supporting them in the most effective and productive way possible.”
