Silversea redefines luxury travel with its 2027- 2028 voyage collection

Silversea has announced its most expansive voyage collection to date, unveiling 414 new sailings across all seven continents for the 2027–2028 season. Departing between February 2027 and May 2028, this landmark release includes 271 classic voyages and 143 expedition journeys, spanning over 600 destinations in more than 100 countries with 30 maiden calls. The collection goes on general sale on 22 October 2025.

Titled ‘Memories that Move You’, the new portfolio is designed to immerse guests in the world’s most captivating cultural moments, from iconic global events to hidden local festivals. Silversea’s signature blend of luxury and deep destination engagement is evident throughout, with voyages ranging from six to 77 days.

Cultural immersion at its finest

Silversea’s 2027–2028 itineraries are carefully timed to coincide with nearly 30 marquee events and local celebrations. Highlights include the Monaco Grand Prix, Rio Carnival, Japan’s cherry blossom season and Awa Odori dance festival, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and France’s Bastille Day and grape harvest season. Guests will also enjoy exclusive access to the Puccini Opera Festival and the San Sebastián Street Festival in Puerto Rico.

Nova-Class ships lead the way

The cutting-edge Silver Nova and Silver Ray will sail 68 voyages across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Central America. These ships feature asymmetrical designs, expansive public spaces, and panoramic views, offering guests immersive experiences in destinations like Dubrovnik, Istanbul, Soufrière and St. Barts. Highlights include flamenco and tapas in Cadiz, hillside farms in Crete, and private concerts in ancient Ephesus.

First-ever summer season in Japan

Silversea will debut its first summer season in Japan aboard Silver Muse, with six combinable sailings during cherry blossom season. Guests will explore iconic cities and lesser-known gems such as Akita, Nagasaki, and Tokushima, timed with local festivals like Kyoto’s Gion Matsuri. The onboard S.A.L.T. culinary program will offer immersive food experiences, including umami tastings in Osaka and regional specialties in Kyoto.

Expedition innovation

Silversea’s 143 new expedition voyages will take guests to remote corners of the globe, including warm-water destinations like Japan, Southeast Asia, and the Great Barrier Reef. Hosted by expert guides, these journeys feature Zodiac excursions, snorkelling, hiking, and cultural encounters in places like Kanazawa, Zamami, and Borneo.

In the Arctic and Greenland, 20 immersive voyages will reach up to 80° North, offering sightings of Arctic wildlife and cultural exchanges with indigenous communities. Meanwhile, 43 journeys to Antarctica – including 32 fly-cruise sailings – will allow guests to explore the continent’s pristine landscapes aboard Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud, and Silver Wind.

New grand voyages

Silversea has introduced three new Grand Voyages for its 2027–2028 season, offering deep cultural immersion across the Mediterranean, Asia, and South America. These extended journeys feature multiple overnights, boutique ports, UNESCO sites, and exclusive events. Highlights include a 60-day Mediterranean voyage aboard Silver Dawn, with 48 destinations and culinary experiences through the S.A.L.T. program; a 51-day Asian journey on Silver Muse during cherry blossom season, featuring 10 overnights and regional food discoveries; and a 77-day South American circumnavigation on Silver Ray, showcasing iconic cities, wildlife encounters, and cultural adventures across 40 destinations.
